Ever since I saw my first performance of the Nutcracker, I fell in love with live shows. Also, I have an extensive background as a dancer, believe it or not, so I have a deep appreciation for the arts. I have always taken my kids and family to broadway type shows and plays all around the Pittsburgh area. I have to say, The Lion King was one of my Favorites of all time. On Aug. 15th, 2010 at 2PM a group of people will be getting together to assemble backpacks for kids who live in and around the Pittsburgh area. We are going to take the backpacks to a few area’s are distribute them to kids ages 5 -17 who need school supplies to start the school year off.

Divinity Salon Was An Amazing Experience For Me #DivinityMoms
On Sunday,May 16th which was my Birthday. I recieved a delightful treat from my dear friend Beth,(AKA PlusSizeMommy).She informed me that she was taking me out to get my hair cut, styled, and colored. The Hebrew National Better-Than-a-Picnic Picnic came to Pittsburgh this past week-end. I was honored as one of the official hosts. Despite the rain many people came out to get some wonderfully yummy hot dogs. This was (I think) the first time I have ever tasted a Hebrew National Hot Dog and man were they delish! There was also fruit and drinks for everyone as well.
