With summer in full swing, The Hub television network, a destination for kids and their families, will present a special “Dog Days of Summer” programming event August 8-14 featuring a week of dog-themed movies, culminating in the return of all-new episodes of one of the network’s most popular series, the animated “Pound Puppies.”

Starting Monday, August 8, families can enjoy canine family-favorites “102 Dalmatians,” “Air Bud,” “All Dogs Go to Heaven” and “Cats & Dogs.” The season premiere of “Pound Puppies” will feature two back-to-back half-hour episodes kicking off at 9 a.m. EST on Saturday, August 13.

When I was a little girl growing up, I remember watching The Pound Puppies on television on Saturday mornings. I also had a few stuffed animal Pound Puppies. I remember how they came in a little cardboard dog house. It was so great to have these cuddly little puppy friends.

I cannot wait to watch these shows on the Hub with my kids and reminisce about the days when I was young.

Synopsis:

My Review : My son’s favorite episode was “The Green Hades”, because the arena was cool, and was huge and made by a meteor. And his favorite Beyblade is Rock Aries. He really enjoyed this movie.

Beyblade is a game where kids can battle their Beyblade’s against each other. There is a Battle Arena you can get to play in. Beyblade’s remind me of a spinning top. They battle by spinning around and whichever one falls first loses. It is a really great game and the Beyblade movies are great too.
I would say this would be for kids ages 7 – 12. (my opinion). This DVD ranges in price, depending on where you buy it. It can be around $15 – $10. You can read more and purchase this movie at Amazon.

Party Like the Na’vi

FANCAST FACTS:

FROM ME (My review of Fancast) : After taking some time and reviewing the Fancast.com website I was thinking to myself, where was this site so many years ago! In High School when I missed a show I wanted to see cause I was busy doing homework, or when I was in college when I had to study for exams and had to miss a favorite show ! Fancast would have been soooo helpful. Being a mother of 4 children, I don’t get a ton of time to sit and watch shows I like, usually I am either in a room where my pre- teens are watching something on Nick, or in a room where my preschooler and toddler are watching Noggin, or in my bedroom where I have to listen to or watch shootem’ up movies with too much violence for me, due to my husband wanting to watch that. ( and by the way, some of the shows I liked to watch back in the day, are on Fancast now too!)

But NOW that One 2 One Network has introduced me to Fancast, oh my, there are some great shows on there that I will be now watching, and in my peaceful time (which is usually at night, but that is okay). I had heard a lot about this show “Glee” from twitter so I watched it and love it. If you haven’t watched any episodes of it yet, you totally need to get over to Fancast and check it out. It is like an old school musical type, high school show with todays themes. I really enjoyed it.

There are other shows on there too that people rave about such as Desperate Housewives, The Office, NCIS, The Simpsons, and more. There are also previews of shows like “V”, Real Housewives of Orange County, The Prisoner, and more.

There is something for everyone. Also right now there is even a ” Halloween Spectacular” – 30 FREE shows you can see to get you into the Halloween spirit!
