My sons who are 11 and 13 loved this DVD. They have read the book and now enjoy watching the DVD as well.  This DVD is based on the best-selling book illustrated novel by Jeff Kinney. This is a family comedy that chronicles the adventures of pre-teen Greg Heffley. Greg uses his wisecracks and wit to survive middle school. His diary includes his thoughts, tales of family trials and tribulations, and school yard triumphs. This movie comes on a Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack for $39.99 or in the Single Disc DVD with Special features for $29.99. This is a perfect Tween/Teen DVD for the holidays.

This novel turned movie brings the modern and mythical worlds together for an action-packed family film. The Blu-ray and DVD are both loaded with special features that all ages can enjoy. Percy Jackson & The Olympians : The Lightning Thief has come out on DVD and Blue-ray.

I was sent a copy to review (well for my kids to review) and they love it as much as the books.

My sons favorite part was when Percy vs. Hades. He says it was exciting and thrilling.

The DVD is Based on the popular book series by Rick Riordan, the film follows trouble-prone Percy Jackson who finds himself having problems in high school… but that’s the least of his challenges. It’s the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus have walked out of the pages of his Greek mythology texts and into his life, and they’re not happy – Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Learning he is the son of Poseidon, the young teen finds himself caught between angry and battling gods, and embarks on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Madeline’s Halloween & Other Spooky Tales from SHOUT! Factory is in stores now. The DVD contains five spooky animated tales which include : Madeline’s Halloween, Madeline and the Mean, Nasty Horrible Hats, Madeline and the Mummy, Madeline and the Haunted Castle, and Madeline and the Spider Lady.

Children of all ages will delight in these adventures as Madeline encounters ghouls, mummies, and the haunted castle. It is truly a fun filled adventure that will get your kids in the Halloween spirit. Mine are already checking out costumes in the stores and trying to decide what they want to dress up as this year.

This is a great DVD to share at Halloween parties or even sleepover’s the month of Oct.. An idea would be to make some scary treats and serve them to the kids before and during the show!

This DVD retails for $12.99. And will provide hours of great spooky entertainment for the kids.

The doll every girl loves and wants to grow up to be like has a new DVD out today. “Barbie A Fashion Fairytale” is a hit at my home. With 4 and 2 yr. old daughters, all the glitter and glam of this fashionista DVD just put even more magical sparkle into my daughters little lives.

We watched this DVD over the week-end and I had an all-girl evening with them (and gramma). I painted their nails, and we ate popcorn and relaxed and watched this magical DVD.
Their favorite part was when the “Flairies” arrived, “not Fairies, no wings”. They thought they were great. They also loved Barbies Aunt who lived in Paris. This movie was just so wonderful to teach my girls that even when your down on your luck, if you just believe in yourself magical miracles can happen.

I loved watching this movie with my girls and they loved watching it too. When my daughter went to her first day of pre-school today, she couldn’t wait to let her little friends all know about it too. -I think I have a Word Of Mouth Marketer in the Making

I believe that any little girl who loves Barbie will love this movie. It would make a great gift for any occasion, or just to surprise your little Diva’s with a mommy and me night in doing “girly” stuff and eating yummy popcorn and watching the movie with them.

I love movies like this one. It is a moving and heartwarming movie. Movies that are inspired by a true story are always so wonderful to watch. I love how much of a warrior Tyler is and how courageous he is. The many messages in this movie I can definitely identify with in my life, and I am sure you would be able to as well.

The Prima Princessa series is a DVD collection of ballet stories just for kids. The series was inspired by 2 blogging mom-entrepreneurs from NJ, that have daughter who love dance.

As a lot of parents know taking young children to a full ballet show can be a rough experience. They just do not usually have the attention span to sit there through the entire show. And for how expensive some shows can be, as a parent, you don’t want to throw your money away by leaving early.

So the Prima Princessa series is a way kids ages 3-6 can be exposed to dance and classical music at home through interactive fun!

So far there are 3 shows in this series, which are, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker (being released 9/7/2010) , and coming in January 2011 will be Sleeping beauty.

The DVD of the Nutcracker is a 60 minute Christmas show which features England’s World famous Birmingham Royal Ballet.

When I brought this DVD home from Blogher they couldn’t wait to watch it. They loved it so much, they dressed up in their fairy costumes and danced along with the DVD.
