I was asked to do a shop and review of Kibbles ‘N Bits Bistro dog food. Well my dog is actually doing the taste part of the review. My dogs name is Bella, and she is just like a kid when it comes to food, she is very picky. So, this is actually an experiment as well, to see if she will eat it. She never eats dog treats or any other food than the 1 she always has eaten.
The ONLY kind of snack she will eat is cheese! Needless to say, she doesn’t get a treat (of cheese) very often.
Here is a Whrrl of my shop and also we bought a large bag of food that we will be donating to an animal shelter in my area. It is called The Safe Haven, it is a no -Kill shelter.
Here are some things I love about Kibbles ‘N Bits Bistro:
1. I love LOVE how it has a zipper closure on the bag. Not only does it keep the food fresh for my lil Bella, but also it won’t spill all over my floor by accident.
2. I also love the price. It is only a little over $11 for the huge bag, which for my baby girl, will last more than a month! Also, if you use the coupon (In my sidebar, or below) You can save $3 off your purchase!
3. The white dog on the front of the packaging. It makes it so easy to find in the store, plus the dog is adorable.
4. I like that my Bella ended up liking and eating it. This will give her (and me) more of a choice than just the same old one that she always eats.

I was shocked when I read the ingredients of this so called food. I can see why your dogs “love” it so much. There is so much junk they put in to disguise the poor taste that otherwise, your pet would not touch that food. Period. Dogs do not want corn, soybean meal, low grade beef and bone meal. They will not beg for wheat flour, unnamed species of animal fat, that could be anything, coming from any source. Who can evaluate the quality of the fat if it is made up of who knows what and it will differ from batch to batch. BHA is a preservative that no caring dog food manufacturer will ever allow in their foods. If it is bad for people, it is even worse for our pets, who are smaller and cannot defend the choices of low grade dog food. Next we have wheat middlings. Now there’s something a dog will blow through fences for – not! Propylene glycol – how’s that for something we should all strive to consume. Animal digest. Well, here’s another unnamed source of who knows what that is being chemically reduced so your dogs can “eat” it. What might be in the “animal” is something you probably do not want to know. Dogs do not need salt but it is put in to help disguise the otherwise foul dog food so your pet will eat it. Caramel color is for your eyes and appeal along with all food colorings. Dogs do not see or care about the colors. They are not a safe thing to give to animals, but they sure make food look pretty. For myself, I will continue to feed real meat based foods without the crap and colors. I will not be feeding any grains to any dog as they are basically not designed to thrive on them. My dogs will truly shine and thrive on real meat based meals that deliver easily digested nutritive sources that they were designed to eat. I feel sorry for any dog who eats poor quality foods that tout to be nutritious. Please learn about the foods your pets are eating. Health is so much easier to maintain when the system doesn’t have to struggle to digest what they were not intended to eat. The ingredients list is one that you should avoid like the plague at all costs if possible. Honestly, your dog will thank you for your efforts. By the way, I forgot to mention corn syrup. Please note that this is sugar and your dog does NOT do well being fed sugar. Period. It is very hard on their system.
This woman, as well as the dozens of others on the net for this product, is paid by the manufacturer. Would guess that if you sign up for anything connected to the site that she is further paid, or maybe the manufacturer is too. It is nearly impossible to find an independent, non-compensated review of this product so all the unsuspecting & ignorant public will find are these bogus paid “endorsements.” Hopefully, they are some intelligent people out there who can see this food, as well as the rest of the Del MOnte pet products, for what it is……pure junk that will most likely shorten your dog’s life from obesity, diabetes, allergies and/or cancer. I have printed the ingredient list as well as actual definition as to what the ingredients are, as well as their likely source. Guarantee none of my customers or associates will ever feed this product to their pets. Look at the things this reviewer loves about the product…..the easy close bag, price, picture of dog (oh, those are very important nutrition points for your dog!) and then the fact that the dog likes it. Note: dogs will eat just about anything, including garbage. I rest my case!
