Hershey’s chocolate has been my favorite chocolate for ever since I can remember. Living in PA, my mom always told us stories about how she took us to Hershey Park when I was a baby and my sister too. When my son was around 4 yrs. old, after playing in his Grandma’s yard, I gave him a much needed bath and discovered an odd rash on his left thigh. I’ve never seen that kind of raised rash before. When I turned his pockets inside out to empty them of pebbles that he had collected, I found several caterpillars and melted chocolate in his left pocket (he’s left-handed and everything always went in his left pockets). Turned out that the caterpillars caused the rash. He told me he unwrapped 3 Hershey Kisses that Grandma had given him, he ate one himself and he shared the other two with the caterpillars in case they got hungry in his pocket. I never minded melted chocolate but I had to take those yucky chocolate covered caterpillars with a tissue back to the yard to release them. I gave him a new Hershey Kiss with a big kiss for being such a generous boy but told him he shouldn’t put any more insects into his pockets ever again.
ewwww ahhhhh but oh such an adorable story !!! I LOVE this !

We were given a gift pack containing lots of those little rese’s poppable ball thingies. We went in to eat at a restaurant, came out and those things had melted into a big gooey pile of PB and Choc. Luckily they were still in the bags but we lost all of them (about 10 bags of yummy goodness was lost)

All the years I worked retail, wasn’t always a good thing. Because they always had my fave, Hershey w/almonds! Yum! Have been a SAHM for 2+ yrs now, so it’s not as easy to get a bar, lol.

I think my favorite memory would have to be when we let our daughter have a mini Hershey bar after trick-or-treating at 10 months old. Chocolate everywhere.
Oh, and I follow you on Twitter too! (@scunning)
We visited Hershey alot when my inlaws lived there. One thing I remember is just driving into Hershey you can smell the chocolate and even the lampposts are shaped liked kisses. It’s such a neat little city.
