Be Safe on Black Friday
When out shopping be safe and smart. Here are some tips I have found are necessary to use when shopping:
- Carry your purse close by and try to carry over and across your body and pay close attention to people around you.
- Pick pocketers will also be in their glory when there are huge crowds and they can “bump” into you and “brush” up against you. Keep paying attention to your surroundings.
- STAY ALERT : There is no easier person to steal from than someone who isn’t paying attention
- Take a blanket to throw over your packages in the car. People will be watching store hoppers. And looking to steal all of “Santa’s” presents out of your sleigh. Don’t be a victim of this.
- If there is a huge crowd beware of tramp-lings and being pushed over. Yea, I know you want that present but it isn’t worth getting hurt over. Stay back and let the others go to it or have it.
- take a coat to throw over items in your cart, or use not so popular toys to cover the coveted gifts. This will deter people from wanting to steal out of your cart or get into arguments with you over certain products.
- Don’t take children, if at all possible, there are too many lines to wait in, too many people and crowds to get through, and you will need your hands for getting those gifts into your cart. Children are not a good idea!

Very useful tips indeed. Everyone needs to be so careful these days, and on ‘high traffic’ and shopping days such as tomorrow, one needs to be even more careful. Which makes me wonder, why don’t most people just shop online? You still get many of the same great sales, without all the hassles of over crowded malls.
